Researching James GOWER born abt 1786 in VA, married (1) Abigail BAKER 1822 in Butler Co OH and (2) Elizabeth HUNTER 1833 in Darke Co OH. James GOWER died in Darke Co OH in 1880 and is buried in Martin Cem., Darke Co. I am willing to share what I have on James GOWER and also on Richard GOWER. I am hoping to prove that James GOWER is a brother to my Nancy GOWER who married Robert CLARK in Butler Co and then moved to Darke County OH where they both died.
